 s how strategic leadership can increase school enrolment and ultimately imp
 rove funding access and transform school culture\, systems\, and outcomes. 
 On appointment as principal\, Mrs S. McCafferty led the introduction of new
  initiatives in order to support local families in accessing their local ru
 ral primary school which had direct impact upon school enrolment numbers. 
  Central to this work was a large emphasis on developing the community voic
 e through effective engagement and audits.  Exploring how to foster authen
 tic relationships with local families\, turn current parents into your stro
 ngest advocates\, and create an inclusive environment that naturally attrac
 ts new pupils. The AoEA Keeping in Touch meeting is a way for members to l
 isten to guest speakers\, share knowledge\, best practice and have a forum 
 where you can discuss with your peers any areas of concern or support you r
 equire.
