I have over 20 years’ experience in school leadership, bringing about school and system development, through improvement. My experience extends beyond organisational setting to design and delivery of tailored curriculum, resource and Teacher Professional Learning.
Through the apprenticeship of our post-conflict context, in schools operating within acute socio-economic deprivation and within a mushrooming, embryonic Irish Medium education system, I lead colleague, school and system improvement through a gentle, people-centric coaching style. I believe that the foundation of system success rests upon sensitivity for sustainability, raising the aspirations of and for each child, whatever their age.
I support school and system improvement through shifting team climate, nurturing positive, confident foundations, uniting language and virtue, and establishing shared practices and behaviours for success.
