I have supported a number of schools on their improvement journeys, my main areas of interest are: developing cultural change within schools to foster positive attitudes for both staff and students and supporting mathematics development, making learners who love the subject and see the ‘real world’ application for the mathematics they are taught.
I have worked in collaboration with other school leaders with the Federation I am a part of for the last 6 years and I believe schools work best when they collaborate with others. I have also supported and collaborated with leaders from other schools and found these informal collaborations to be highly useful.
I am committed to CPD and have enjoyed studying leadership models while gaining my NPQH and then becoming an Associate member of the AoEA.
