The Association of Education Advisers is pleased to confirm the return of its popular Pre-conference Dinner, taking place ahead of the Ninth Connecting Educators Summit 2026.
Building on the success of previous years, the dinner continues to be a valued part of the Summit experience, offering delegates a relaxed and informal space to connect with peers, exchange ideas and engage in professional dialogue.
This year’s dinner will feature a panel discussion focused on one of the most pressing questions facing education today. While education systems have evolved incrementally over time, many of the challenges currently facing schools are fundamentally different from those that shaped the system we know. The panel will explore a key question: if we were designing the system now, what major shifts would we prioritise?
We are delighted to welcome a distinguished panel of speakers:
- Rory File
- Baroness Estelle Morris
- Les Walton CBE
Their combined experience and perspectives promise a thoughtful and engaging discussion, setting the tone for the Summit day that follows.
The Pre-conference Dinner has consistently been highlighted by delegates as a key moment for meaningful connection and reflection. It provides an opportunity to arrive ahead of the conference, settle into the event, and be part of an ongoing AoEA tradition.
Places for the dinner are limited and demand is expected to be high.
We encourage delegates to secure their place early and take full advantage of the Summit experience.
