Resilience in a World of Unprecedented Uncertainty – Dr Kevin Palmer

Dr Kevin Palmer delivered an engaging presentation along with a panel of speakers, discussing how to show resilience in the face of uncertainty

Panel: Gwyneth Evans, David Jenkins, Barbara Middleton, and Clare Slowther.

Dr Kevin Palmer is Deputy Director of Pedagogy, Leadership and Professional Learning in Welsh Government. His portfolio includes Initial Teacher Education, Research, Professional Learning, Leadership, the Professional Standards and A Levels.

Gwyneth Evans was appointed as the founding Principal of one of the first all-through schools in England in 2009 until 2018. Her educational interests include leadership, learning and teaching and professional learning.

David Jenkins is the Acting Executive Headteacher of Ysgol Ty Coch and Parklane Special Schools in Rhondda Cynon Taf, South Wales. He has 16 years of experience of working within the special educational needs sector, and was awarded the Headteacher of the Year Award in the ‘Professional Teaching Awards, Cymru’ in 2020.
