About the Presentation

The Best Thinking is Rethinking

Corinne will outline her work focused on moving pupils from reliance on teacher direction towards greater independence, reasoning and confidence in their learning. Through targeted professional development, coaching and the establishment of a cross‑phase Drive Team, teachers were supported to integrate metacognitive strategies, effective questioning and structured peer dialogue into everyday practice. The presentation will highlight the model of collaborative leadership, evidence‑based approaches and how shared ownership enabled sustainable improvement and positioned the school as a model of effective practice.
