At the Association of Education Advisers (AoEA), we believe that every school, college and education provider should have access to high-quality, independent support that helps them improve outcomes for learners and strengthen their communities. For many years, AoEA members have worked alongside schools, trusts, local authorities and governments to build school improvement capacity. We now believe the system is ready for the next step.
We are developing a universal model of school support – one that goes beyond inspection and intervention, and instead focuses on early help, professional trust and shared responsibility for improvement.
We look to bring together schools, trusts, local authorities and advisers to help shape what the future of school support could look like: locally, regionally and nationally. This is not about imposing a new framework. It is about co-designing a better system.
