WhatWorked Education

WhatWorked supports schools to move beyond intuition and isolated pilots by helping practitioners test what works in real classroom settings. Through short structured micro trials teachers and school leaders can evaluate if an approach works in the context of their school.

What makes the model different is that individual trials do not sit in isolation. Results are automatically combined into a shared evidence system building cumulative learning across schools, trusts and regions. Over time this creates a growing practitioner led evidence base that shows not just whether something worked once but whether it works reliably in different contexts.

For school advisors, this means supporting schools to become active producers of evidence, not just consumers of research. The aim is simple: practical testing, clearer insight and shared learning that strengthens decision making across the system.
