My work focuses on leadership, culture, ethical decision-making, inclusion and organisational resilience. I am particularly effective in supporting schools and MATs navigating challenge, change or inspection, developing leadership capacity at all levels, and embedding improvement that is humane, sustainable and evidence-informed. I bring strong expertise in coaching, mentoring, governance support, professional learning design and staff culture, underpinned by doctoral-level research and extensive publication. As an author and researcher, I am skilled at translating theory into accessible, impactful practice that resonates with both senior leaders and frontline staff.

Alongside my educational leadership, I serve as a British Army Reserve Officer in the Intelligence Corps, working nationally on leadership education, moral courage, high-performing teams and professional standards. This experience strengthens my advisory work through a deep understanding of accountability, risk, decision-making under pressure and values-based leadership, all of which are increasingly relevant to schools and system leaders.
